Introduction to Goutweed Best Management Practices

Did you know that Goutweed is labelled as one of the worst garden weeds in perennial gardens and has many characteristics that make it extremely difficult to control? Due to its extensive underground root system and its tolerance to drought and shade, it can escape gardens and invade natural areas where it forms dense stands that outcompete native plants, inhibit native tree regeneration and reduce biodiversity.

Join us for an informative 2.5 hr online workshop which will provide an overview of our Best Management Practices guide for Goutweed!

Learn together with other dedicated individuals and professionals on our interactive virtual learning platform and earn a certificate in Goutweed Best Management Practices from the Ontario Invasive Plant Council!
